Who May Use the Libraries
Who may use the Snell Library?
- Current Northeastern University students, faculty and staff with a Husky ID.
- Alumni of Northeastern and friends of the library with an alumni ID, available from NU Alumni Services [hours here].
- Members of partner institutions, with photo identification from your institution.
Guests and Visitors
Effective January 3, 2012:- Current Northeastern faculty, staff and students may bring up to two guests at a time to the Snell Library. Guests will be issued a day pass.
- Members of the public who seek to use Northeastern information resources not available to them at their public or institutional libraries, including visitors to the Archives and Special Collections, please contact libraryprivileges@neu.edu to apply for a researcher pass.
- As a federal depository, the Northeastern University Libraries ensure public access to federal government publications on deposit.
Visitors are welcome during regular service hours. During overnight study hours, a current student or faculty/staff NU ID is required for entry, and to remain in the building.
All visitors are required to show photo ID to the security guard at the entrance to Snell Library.
