Introduction
Classes
Winter Fun
|
In the same
way that campcraft skills could only be taught outdoors at camp, skiing
and other winter sports could only be taught by leaving Boston for the
mountains north and west of the city. Every winter, students went to Ski
Week, where classes were taught in winter sports and recreation, and an
atmosphere of frolic prevailed. Between classes, students rode horses,
drove sledges, and played in the snow, further strengthening their bonds
as a class.
