Because
Bouvé wanted to foster high achievement and ability in its students,
a priority was placed on formal recognitions. Numerous prizes were awarded
at the end of sessions, at the end of camp, and at the end of the school
year. Milestones, such as the transition from junior class to senior class,
or the first time physical therapy students went out into the clinics,
were marked with ceremony and festivities. And, of course, graduation
was celebrated with all due pomp, with the senior class leaving behind
mementoes of their time at "Dear old Bouvé."
