       Miss Bouvé

Bouvé students sang all year long at school, and the month at camp was no exception. The School believed that music was an important part of the camp experience and that students preparing for camp jobs should be able to lead singing as well as participate in it. Camp songs were passed down from one year to the next, both songs for campers and for counsellors. New songs were composed yearly also, especially for the camp show at the end of session. The most popular method of composition was writing new words to familiar tunes, but occasionally a gifted student might compose new music.
