Success in sports competition is often rewarded with a trophy of some kind. At Bouvé, the Blue and White trophy was a silver candlestick, engraved with the date and name of the team that won each year-long competition. The candlestick on display for the year, holding a candle the color of the winning team. In 1936, when the teams tied, the head of the competition searched and searched until she found a candle that was spiraled in both colors.
