In addition to curricular demonstrations, the students at Bouvé regularly performed in shows for the benefit of their families, the surrounding community, and each other. The performances encompassed different types of activities, but usually focused on the students' skills that were best suited to artistic performance, such as dance and synchronized swimming. Parents' Weekend always had a show, as did Class Day, and there were seasonal shows as well, usually in the spring as the culmination of a year's work. Student choreography was featured, and the students often chose fanciful themes, such as Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. For a larger photo of student dancers, click on the image above. |
