"Celebration for Harriet Tubman" program and the Tubman dancers photographs (1981)

The Celebration for Harriet Tubman was presented by the United South End Settlements (USES), an organization devoted to community cohesion and activism in Boston's South End. Harriet Tubman was an honorary board member of the Harriet Tubman House, one of the four settlement houses that joined together as USES in 1960, and celebrations of Tubman’s achievements have been an ongoing part of USES programming. From the United South End Settlement records.
