Adult
Children of Heterosexuals poster and songs (1992-1993)
“So take this warning, oppression makes you mean…”
Formed in 1992, Adult Children of Heterosexuals (ACOH) was a hard-core,
gender-bending, queer-celebratory, post-punk cabaret band. Composed
of Theater Offensive members and local queer performers, the band
played in Boston, New York, and the March on Washington in 1993.
ACOH wrote their own songs, taking on politics, queer and liberal
hypocrisy, and the AIDS pandemic. Stage shows usually included a
wild musical mélange of styles, songs, and fabulous costumes.
From
the Theater Offensive records.
