Love Is All You Need flyer (1970)

The first gay Pride events in Boston were held June 27, 1970 on Stonewall’s first anniversary. This flyer advertises special events and seminars, including a “gay-in” at the weekly rock concerts at the Cambridge Common and public dialogues about gay lifestyles open to the community. The events were coordinated by the Homophile Coordinating Committee, a collaboration of gay and lesbian organizations in Boston, including the Daughters of Bilitis, the Student Homophile League, the Homophile Union of Boston, the Council on Religion and the Homosexual, and the Gay Liberation Front.
