Sociedad Latina brochure (ca. 1999)
Since its founding in 1968, Sociedad Latina has strived to combat racism, foster self-esteem, and encourage respect and appreciation of diverse cultures. The organization is unique among Boston community groups in that it is dedicated exclusively to serving Latino youth in the city. Sociedad Latina hopes that empowering Latino youth will help to ensure the self-sufficiency and advancement of the Latino community. From the Sociedad Latina records.
