'On October 3, 1977 Rosie Jimenez died from an illegal, back-alley abortion' flyer (1977)
A flyer for a pro-choice vigil at the State House to protest the Doyle-Hyde amendment, which made abortions ineligible for Medicare coverage. This amendment was detrimental to poor and often minority women, who did not have the financial means to pay for a legal abortion. From the Abortion Action Coalition records.
