Mira Cantor is an art professor at Northeastern University. She was awarded a Fulbright in 1994-95 to Alexandria, Egypt, where she taught and showed her work at the American Center. Her solo shows include the Tokyo American Center, Japan; BWA Gallery, Krakow, Poland; DeCordova Museum, Lincoln, Massachusetts; Contemporary Arts Center, Honollulu; and Gallery Lohrl, Dusseldorf, Germany. Cantor's work is in the collections of the Rose Art Museum, Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; Honolulu Academy of Arts; and Contemporary Arts Center of Honolulu. Her drawings have been exhibited at the Vienna Biennale and the Norwegian International Print Biennale, as well as biennales in Yugoslavia and Poland. Her work is in many private collections in the United States and Europe.
