Joye Zarick was a Connecticut-based artist whom Arthur Goldberg met early in his life as an art collector. Zarick graduated from the Chicago Art Institute and the Maryland Institute of Fine Arts. She also studied with renowned painter Jacques Maroger in Balitimore, Maryland, and in New York City for nine years.
