Who Should Register?

  • Alumni who need access to borrowing or online research resources through the library.
  • Guests and visitors without an NU ID but with a university affiliation that allows library access.
  • Faculty emeriti who retired prior to 2007 and do not have an NU ID number.

Alumni access to library databases and ejournals etc...

Telephone (617-373-2364) or email us with the following information:
  • Your name
  • Residential address
  • NU email address (alumni may provide any email address)
  • NU id number if you have one (NOT your social security number!). This 9-digit number is available from the services and links tab in myNEU, or on the address label of the NU Alumni Magazine.

You will be contacted with instructions and information within three business days if your registration is approved.

Borrowing books and other library materials...

Alumni
  1. Pick up your NU Alumni ID card in 120 Hayden (Student Central Office). [Hours here]
  2. Come to the Snell Library Circulation Desk with your Alumni ID and we'll help you find and check out books, videos and more.
All Others
