Current NU students/faculty/staff: if you've ever borrowed materials from the NU libraries using your current Husky card, you're already registered!
Who Should Register?
- Alumni who need access to online research resources
- Current NU students, faculty, and staff who need to borrow in person from our local library partners
- Current NU students, faculty, and staff who need to order materials not available at NU using Nexpress, Virtual Catalog, or ILLiad interlibrary loan services.
Walk-in registration
Alumni- Pick up your Alumni Husky card in 120 Hayden (Student Central Office). [More info]
- Bring the card to the Snell Library Circulation Desk to be registered in our system.
- Bring your Husky Card to the Snell Library Circulation Desk to be registered in our system.
Email registration
Alumni and current students and faculty based off-campus are elibigle for email registration. Please email us the following information:- Your name
- Residential address
- NU email address (alumni may provide any email address)
- 14-digit barcode from your Husky Card if you have one (begins 29358... or 271...)
- NU id number if you have one (NOT your social security number!) available from the services and links tab in myNEU.
- Alumni only: indicate whether we can share your information with NU's Office of Alumni Relations
You will be contacted within three business days if your registration is approved. If you don't already have a Husky card, we will issue you a barcode.
