Closed-captioned videos and television
Many VHS, laserdisc, and DVD titles in our collection have closed captions and can be viewed in the Libraries' carrels. A listing of these titles is in NuCat (View the list).Some campus classrooms with built-in video equipment, such as Shillman Hall, also have closed captioning playback capability. Additional decoders are available for use with equipment circulated to classrooms.
Audio Loop
The Snell Library has an audio loop system in Room 120 (used for library instruction) and in room 90 (Seminar Room). Contact Campus Media Services (617-373-4357) for a list of all campus rooms with audio loop installations.
