Requesting Library Instruction

Instructors may submit a request by:

1. Logging in to myNEU
2. Selecting the "Library" tab (Graduate students go to Self-Service")
3. Clicking on "Library instruction request"

Request forms are also available at the Reference Desk.

Please note: Do not consider your instruction request confirmed until you hear from a librarian. We need at least one week's notice to prepare for your class; student attendance must be mandatory for library instruction sessions.

Library sessions are most effective when students have a specific assignment or research project. See Planning Effective Library Assignments for suggestions about library assignments.

Library sessions for Advanced Writing in the Disciplines (ENG U301 through U306) and first-year English (ENG U101, U102, U111) are pre-scheduled at the beginning of the semester.
